Tow Dolly's are a great alternative for hauling a car at the fraction of the price of a towing company. At Del's Truck Rentals we are pleased to offer Tow Dolly's for our customers. Towing requirements and specifications are as follows:
Towing Requirements:
- Towing vehicle must have as a minimum a Class 3-5,000 lb. (for non-brake units) or a Class 4-6,000 lb. (for brake units) hitch and hitch ball that is rated as such.
- The towing vehicle's weight must be substantially greater (at least 1000 lbs.) than the weight of the tow dolly and towed vehicle combined.
Max. Towed Vehicle Weight:
- FWD (4300 lbs.) w?brakes (4500 lbs.)
- RWD (4300 lbs.) w/brakes (4800 lbs)
Misc. Towing Requirements:
- Ball Size: 2" Ball
- Wiring: Flat four
