How old do you have to be to rent?
You must be at least 21 years old to rent equipment from us. You can be 18 if your company has rented the equipment and you are representing them.
Can we leave our vehicle there during our rental?
Yes, we do offer customer parking for the duration of your rental. However, we do lock our gates after hours so if you need access to your vehicle you may want to be dropped off when picking up your truck.
Can we leave a cash deposit?
No. We only accept pre-authorizations via debit card or credit card. Deposits range from $250-$350 for most of our equipment. Dump truck deposits are $1000 per one-day rental. Refrigerator trucks are $500 deposit. Multiple day deposits are based on the estimated duration of your rental and charged accordingly. Customers can choose how they want to pay for their rental when returning equipment to Del’s Truck Rentals.
Do we have to fuel the trucks?
Yes. Trucks leave full of fuel and must be returned full of fuel. All truck renters must bring their fuel receipt for inspection when returning equipment. All fuel receipts are returned to customers after being documented.
Does my insurance cover me in your trucks?
This question is one for your insurance company. Most insurance companies cover rentals up to 10,000 GVW. Anything over that may not be covered. Call your agent if you are not sure.
Can I buy insurance from you?
All of Del’s Truck Rentals equipment carries secondary liability insurance at no additional cost to our customers; however, you are responsible for any damage to our equipment. We offer what we call a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which is NOT insurance and only protects our truck in the event that you collide with another moving vehicle regardless whose fault it is or whether or not the other driver is insured. It does not protect the truck if damage is caused by driver error such as, side swiping, going under low bridges or hitting stationary objects such as parked cars, etc. It does not carry any comprehensive or liability, it is only meant to protect our truck only under the specified conditions.
Customer shall be specifically liable for overhead, low-bridging, and sideswiping damage to vehicle or van box caused by striking any object because of insufficient clearance whether in height or width. Damage from an unsecured load is the responsibility of the customer. CDW cannot be offered for any rentals that are towing or being towed, nor do we offer CDW for any of our dump trucks.
Do you offer one way rentals?
Del’s Truck Rentals is a locally based company, so we do not offer one-way rentals. However, we do allow our trucks out of the state or country as long as you return them to our Woodinville, WA location.
What is the cancellation policy for sprinter passenger vans?
Passenger sprinter rentals lasting longer than three days require a non-refundable 30% deposit to reserve the vehicle, and rentals of three days or less require a non-refundable deposit equal to one day’s rental price. Passenger sprinter rentals canceled on or after the day of the reservation will be charged for the time of the entire reservation.
What is the cancellation policy for trucks or trailers?
Reservations with Del’s Truck Rentals must be canceled 24 hours or more before reservation time in order for deposits to be refunded. There will be no refund on “No Shows.” Equipment will be held one hour after time reserved before being considered a “No Show.”
Are your rentals for 24 hours?
Only if you pick up your equipment before 8am or after 5pm. If you pick up your equipment at any other time the equipment is due back at opening the next business day. There is an hourly late charge up to 4 hours. After 4 hours you will be charged the daily rate.
